Postpartum Osteopath
Relieve postnatal discomfort and feel like yourself again after birth
Here is how I work

Step into motherhood feeling strong, supported, and pain-free
Is pain or discomfort making it harder to enjoy motherhood?
The early weeks and months after birth are demanding — and when your body is still recovering, those physical aches and pains can make it even harder.
You don’t have to push through or accept feeling this way. Postnatal care matters — because when you feel supported and well, it’s easier to embrace life with your baby.
I specialise in postpartum osteopathic care, helping mums recover, rebalance, and feel more like themselves again.
With personalised, gentle treatment and advice tailored to your body and lifestyle, I’m here to support you — so you can care for your baby without pain holding you back.
Your body deserves care too, and you are welcome to bring littles ones
In the whirlwind of motherhood, it’s easy to ignore your own aches and pains — but your recovery matters. Whether you’ve had a vaginal birth or a C-section, a first time mum or this is your second or third baby, your body has been through an incredible transformation and now needs support as you adjust to life with your baby.
As an osteopath with years of experience and a mum of two myself, I know how demanding those early months can be. That’s why my clinic is completely baby-friendly. Bring your baby along — feed, cuddle, rock, or change them during your appointment. We'll work around their needs without pressure or stress.
Osteopathic treatment can help with:
- Post-birth pelvic discomfort
- Back, neck, and shoulder tension
- Recovery from C-section or birth trauma
- Supporting your body as you return to daily movement and much more!
You don’t have to wait until you’re in pain to seek help. A postpartum check-in can make a world of difference in how you feel — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Hi, I am Sarah, your Postpartum Osteopath expert
I became an osteopath after seeing how powerful hands-on treatment could be in helping people feel better — not just by easing pain, but by looking at the whole picture: posture, stress, movement, and daily habits. Based in Milford, Auckland, I’ve developed a special focus on caring for women during and after pregnancy.
The postpartum period is a huge adjustment — physically, emotionally, and mentally. From back and neck tension to pelvic discomfort or recovering after a C-section, new mums often experience aches that are seen as “normal,” but don’t have to be.
As a mum of two myself, I understand the challenges of early motherhood. My approach is gentle, practical, and flexible — babies and kids are always welcome at your appointment, and we work around feeds, naps, and nappy changes with zero pressure.
So if you’re in the thick of the fourth trimester and your body needs a little support, I’m here to help. Let’s make your recovery a priority — because when you feel good, everything else becomes just that little bit easier
Postpartum Osteopathic care
Postpartum osteopathic treatment can help relieve a wide range of common aches and pains new mums experience after birth. These may include lower back pain from lifting, bending, and feeding; neck and shoulder tension caused by breastfeeding or holding your baby for long periods; and pelvic pain or discomfort following a vaginal delivery or C-section. Osteopathy can also assist with wrist and hand pain (like De Quervain’s or "mummy thumb"), hip and sacroiliac joint pain, tailbone soreness, and general postural strain from babywearing or poor sleep positions. Gentle hands-on techniques help the body recover, improve mobility, release tension, and support your overall wellbeing so you can feel more like yourself again in the fourth trimester.
